On behalf of the St Vincent de Paul Society of NSW, we wish to thank our supporters for their generous donations to the Vinnies COVID-19 Christmas Appeal. Funds raised through this project so far have raised $3564, allowing Vinnies to provide vital assistance to families at breaking point. $3564 helps to Vinnies provide 54 children with essential clothing or 20 food hampers to hungry families. It allows us to pay the utility bills for 8 struggling families or could even help to keep 2 families in their homes.
During these challenging times, your donation to this project has helped to restore hope to a family struggling at Christmas. As we move forward, it is clear that the impact of COVID will be long lasting. For so many, the financial implications of the pandemic will continue and more people will turn to our services for essential support. This is especially true for those in our community who are already experiencing poverty and disadvantage. Thanks to our volunteers and supporters like you, Vinnies NSW will continue to support those most in need now and into the future.
