The new soccer season is always exciting as we newly formed teams getting to know each other.
We started with our super star Makara being chosen for a weekly training and perhaps being the new Cambodian Messi.
The U16 boys played the first week and found that they need to have more practice.
The next week was the turn of U16 girls to get their season underway with the Next Step FC soccer tournament. Kitted out in brand new uniforms thanks to Park Hyatt Siem Reap, the girls not only looked the part but played brilliantly too! A big well done to everyone involved.
Playing friendly competition against 15 other teams certainly brings on a sense of sportsmanship. Life lessons are learned in healthy sports.
