CCDO proudly has 4 teams entered into the Glorablteer Soccer League for the 2015-2016 season.
Girls U14 and Girls U18 along with a Boys U16 and Boys U18. Last year, the girls outdid the boys on the playing field.
Our new volunteer, Sebastiaan, has been working with the teams to give them new soccer drills and they have been working hard to improve their game. This season, the teams will also score points for Good Sportsmanship.
Thanking the referee after each match. Shaking hands with their opponents and generally being nice and applauding the other teams when they win goals. They need to stay until all matches have been played.
They are learning that soccer has many facets that are carried though into their life experiences. Well done Charlie from Globalteer to enforce this behaviour at a young age.
We salute our two coaches, Sayon and Veasna, who are dilligent with their practiice of the teams. Mr Say, our tuk-tuk driver, has been pulled in to help coach them and give added encouragement.
