A Safe Space to Grow, Create, and Belong

Art, exploration, and collective creativity have become powerful drivers of transformation for the 77 adolescents in our program. Over the past few months, we established a valuable partnership with Medellín’s Participatory Budget initiative, which enabled our youth to take part in two months of painting and graffiti workshops. These learning experiences were officially certified by the Pascual Bravo University Institution. In addition, the magic of meaningful connection came to life through a collaborative upcycling lab with students from The Columbus School, where participants embroidered, painted, and transformed shirts into unique bags.

Beyond these enriching one-time experiences, the heart of our project lies in the ongoing support spaces we provide. Week after week, adolescents attend Karate classes, creative communications workshops, and dance and English sessions. These consistent activities play a vital role in their daily lives, serving as channels for self-expression, outlets for emotional release, and opportunities to develop discipline. Most importantly, they strengthen their support networks and sense of belonging.

For our 77 beneficiaries, giving new life to a worn-out garment or learning to communicate through movement in their classes is a powerful metaphor for their own journeys: with perseverance, creativity, and teamwork, anything can be transformed. Your support makes it possible for them to continue finding in these spaces a safe environment where they can discover and develop their potential.

Thank you for helping us weave a brighter and more promising future
