Dear supporters,
It is the end of the rainy season in Ethiopia. It is also the new year as of September 11. Following the end of the rainy season rural communities are often blessed with abundance due to the ensuing harvest. It the highlands the rainy season is also cold despite being summer on the geographic calendar.
Our plan to distrbute seedlings during the rainy season as promised did not materialize due to lack of funds. The demand by meny people is increasing. the impact of the apple fruits has created interest by many young people in the village. We promised to them that they have to wait until next summer to be participants in a new round of seedling plantation and training.
We would like to thank you for your support, I would especially like to thank those few recurrent donors that are sustaining the project. The community would be very greatfull for new recurrent donors from any one that you know. Thank you again for your continued support.
Best wishes for a blessed Fall.
