Dear supports,
I have good news from Tigray. The Ethiopian Federal government and the Tigray regional state had met in Pretoria, RSA for peace. They signed a peace agreement on November 2, 2022, that will eventually lead to peace. Military commanders from Tigray and the federal government again met in Nairobi to detail the implementation of the peace agreement. The peace agrees for the unhindered delivery of humanitarian supplies to Tigray as well as the opening of the region from encirclement and blockade.
I believe that this is good news for our project. However, we need the complete implementation of the agreement and the quick withdrawal of non-Tigray forces from the region. Eritrean troops are still digging their presence in northern Tigray. It's high time that Eritrea also accepts the agreement and withdraws its troops. Many IDPs are also walking to the city of Adigrat. If the agreement is implemented by Eritrea and the Amhara forces in west Ethiopia can start reviving its economy and start its growth.
Once the peace treaty is implemented we would immediately travel to the region and restart the project.
We will keep you updated about the region and the project.
Thank you and Happy Holidays,
