Immunization Project Progress report
The Roteang Village children have nearly completed the immunizations outlined as part of this project. The first shots were given in March 2007, the second in May 2007, and the third in July 2007. These shots completed the Hep B series. A booster for DPT/DT in January will complete the initiative.
We are raising money to support this immunization effort via several channels, including Global Giving. To expedite getting the children immunized, The Sharing Foundation has paid for the immunization expenses and will reimburse its general operating account when the project funds are raised. We are hopeful that end-of-year donations and a potential grant award will cover the full costs of the effort.
Many, many thanks to the generous individuals who have helped us provide critical immunizations for Roteang village children. These shots can make the difference between life and death for these children.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
