Updates + Thank you + Fantastic Media Coverage!!

By Danny M. Cohen | Founder & Interim Executive Director

Hi Unsilence family!

EXCITING UPDATES

MEDIA COVERAGE
Thanks to your support of Unsilence, the stories of the mothers of The Sisterhood -- told through our brand new online exhibit -- received fantastic media coverage, including primetime TV spots on NBC and Fox and a powerful article in the Chicago Sun-Times.

MEDIA FOCUS
What seems to be resonating most is that the exhibit is narrated by the mothers themselves, and the exhibit doesn't focus on HOW their children were killed or murdered, but rather it focuses on the humanity of their children when they were alive and spotlights the grief and loss the mothers of The Sisterhood continue to experience while fighting for justice.

KEEP SHARING!
Please continue to help the mothers tell their stories by sharing the exhibit link and media links (above) on social media and with your friends, colleagues, and families. Spacing your different posts a few days apart works really well.

DONATIONS TO THE SISTERHOOD
Finally, if you know of people who would like to make a donation, they can do so through GlobalGiving (going forward, funds through this campaign page will go directly to The Sisterhood, while donations to Unsilence for our other projects and programs should be made through the Unsilence website).

Again, thank you for your help and support!
We cannot unsilence without you.
Danny
