With your support, MECA provided 139 scholarships to Palestinian students in the West Bank and Gaza during this academic year. Meet Ahmed, one of these scholarship recipients:
"Being a doctor was my passion since I was a child. However, I faced many obstacles such as the expensive cost of studying medicine at the Al Azhar university. This scholarship has changed my life. This gives me and my family hope for a better future. After graduation, I want to help people who are ill or injured, who have to endure the harsh conditions of life in Gaza."
