Thabyay Education Foundation provides scholarships to selected candidates from Myanmar to study at universities in the Asian region. This also provides a range of technical and logistical support to ensure the successful operation of the programs and the most effective distribution of scholarship funds.
Through a network of information centers and representatives in Myanmar, and its website, the Thabyay Education Foundation disseminates information about scholarships and opportunities to study abroad, provides academic counselling and offers support in applying to universities and scholarship programs.
Trip to Mawlamyine, Mon State
After sharing the information at the venue, more than an hour was spent for half of the students to discuss about their interest, present qualification and future opportunities to individual and pairs.
“We met and talked with potential students who are really interested in scholarship awards. About 5 students achieved distinctions in their matriculation exam”.
Trip to Myintkyina, Waing Maw, Kachin State
Around 35 students attended our session held in Christian Leadership Training Center (Waing Maw Baptist Association) in August 2016.
About 60 students attended our session held in Tatkon 10th mile Kachin Baptist Church in August 2016. During this trip, there were nearly 100 students received the scholarship information of study abroad.
