What does hunger feel like? Ever get “hangry”? For some hunger is a daily life experience. Choosing between paying bills, rent and eating is a difficult decision. This quarter United Way of Southern Cameron County and our partners worked to put 9,805 meals on the table and 1474 emergency bags of food in the hands of people who needed it. Food is a basic need and we believe no one should go hungry.
Working with our community partners we strive to ensure emergency bags of food are readily available and easy to access. With your support we have continued to support those most in need in our community.
This work does not happen without the generous support of our donors. Thank you for the privilege of serving our community.
