Our Impact: 6 Children Supported in Ukraine

By Natalie Blinder | Founder

Dear friends,

Greetings from Bright Kids Charity in Ukraine.

With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to share an update on our work supporting children with disabilities.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to support 6 children with essential rehabilitation and care, at a total cost of USD 5127.

One mother shared her story with us:

“I am the mother of a wonderful daughter, Karina.
From birth, my daughter faced health challenges, and just before the age of three, she was diagnosed with autism. It was very difficult for me to accept, and from that moment our lives changed completely.
We are an ordinary family and unfortunately do not have the financial means to provide rehabilitation courses four times a year on our own. That is why we turned to your charitable foundation for help.
Your foundation has now supported us for the second time, and for this I am sincerely and infinitely grateful.”

Another mother, Natalia, shared the challenges her family is facing:

“I am a single mother raising three young children on my own.
I tried to breastfeed my youngest child, but unfortunately my milk supply stopped. My eldest child, born in 2017, has had a disability since birth. The children require special care, and therefore I do not have the opportunity to work and financially support my family on my own.
In addition to my eldest child’s disability, my children are very often ill, which requires expensive medical treatment. We are already surviving solely on state support, most of which is spent on medications and basic necessities. Recently, I was also forced to borrow money to replace our broken washing machine, as I could no longer manage washing children’s clothes by hand.
I love my children very much, but I am physically exhausted and have no one to help me.”

Natalia is asking for compassion and support to help her children and to improve their living conditions.

The families we support are facing severe and ongoing hardship. Despite this, parents continue to seek every possible way to secure care and treatment for their children.

Because of your support, these children are receiving rehabilitation and medical care that would otherwise be out of reach. Your kindness directly translates into improved quality of life, development, and hope for the future.

We would be deeply grateful if you could consider supporting our initiative again, helping vulnerable families — many of them single mothers affected by war — access essential care for their children.

With warm wishes,
The Bright Kids Charity Team
