Dear friends, we are happy to report that your donation helped four-year-old Kira and six other children attend physical therapy treatments at a total cost of UAH 134,800 (USD 4,607.78).
We support children with disabilities victimised by the war - those forcibly displaced, raised in single-parent households, and those whose families can’t make ends meet due to employment and deepening poverty.
Physical therapy is a vital form of treatment for children with disabilities; it helps improve motor skills and prevent movement problems from getting worse over time, empowering children with disabilities to achieve the best possible independence and well-being. Children’s ability to access treatments essential to their development shouldn't have to depend on the financial ability of their families. But unfortunately, in Ukraine, children from impoverished families can’t access the healthcare they need to survive and live a quality life. In the hope of helping their children, parents turn to charities for support.
Without help, children often become trapped in cycles of poverty and poor health, and we are very grateful to you for giving this chance to Ukrainian children with disabilities to live a more fulfilled life with less pain.
