We couldn't have done it without YOU!

By Natalie Blinder | Founder

Dear friends, with this update, we would like to highlight the importance of your support to Ukrainian children with disabilities.

As the war drags on, vulnerable families in Ukraine are struggling to survive. Soaring prices, scarce resources, and delays to state support payments mean that families affected by the war rely on the kindness of strangers to afford for their children the basic needs, such as food, clothing, and treatments that children with disabilities require regularly.

Every day, we receive requests for help from families in despair. One of the families we support is the family of Olga L. Olga is a mum of 2 boys, one of whom has a disability. Olga finds it hard to provide for her family, as having a child with disabilities means she can only accept jobs that offer flexible hours. The family's situation worsened as their home was damaged during the fighting. Olga is working on developing her business offering hairdressing services - to be able to work from home and provide for her family. Earlier, we supported Olga by purchasing hairdressing tools for her venture, and this time, we were happy to help her son Danil attend his physical rehabilitation course.

We are so fortunate to be able to answer cries for help - thanks to our donors. This time, we made payments of UAH 171509 (USD 5862.57) towards physical treatments for nine children with disabilities.

Thank you so much for stepping in to help! We couldn't do it without you!

Warm wishes,

Natalie Blinder
