Dear friends,

We are truly grateful for your continued support of our Med Aid initiative. Thanks to your donations, we were able to respond quickly to urgent healthcare needs in three Ukrainian community foundations affected by war and systemic challenges.

We are happy to share that thanks to your generosity, we raised $6,855 - and here’s how this money helped change lives

Zhytomyr: Helping Cardiology Patients

Together with the Zhytomyr Community Foundation, we provided the city hospital with a Holter ECG monitor (BI6600-3) to help diagnose and monitor patients with heart disease. With this equipment, doctors can now better manage cardiovascular cases - a growing concern due to stress and displacement caused by the war.

Kharkiv: Saving Newborn Lives

In war-affected Kharkiv, together with the local community foundation “Toloka,” we restored a full oxygen delivery system in the neonatal intensive care unit of a perinatal center. The system includes new copper pipelines, DIN sockets, and technical upgrades - ensuring safe, uninterrupted oxygen flow to fragile newborns.

Berezan: Bringing Healthcare Back to a Village

Together with the Berezan Community Foundation, we re-opened a local medical outpatient clinic in the de-occupied village of Rudnytske (Kyiv region). It was fully equipped with essential medical devices, including a portable ECG, diagnostic tools, and furniture. More than 750 residents, many elderly or displaced, can now receive basic healthcare without needing to travel far.

These may seem like small wins - but for the communities involved, they are life-changing.

Thank you for making this work possible. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us get vital care to where it's needed most.

With hope and gratitude,
The National Network for Local Philanthropy Development
