Thank you for making a difference to school children in rural Kenya by supporting the East African Children's Fund fish farming program. Your donations assist Nchiru Children’s Village (NCV) which is a group of three boarding schools situated in the hills of eastern Kenya. NCV unites St. Francis Boys’ Home (443 boys), St. Clare Girls’ Centre (366 girls) and St. Philomena Homes of Hope for HIV+ Children (76 girls and boys). Most children have suffered abuse and neglect due to homelessness, child marriage, for being HIV+ or because modest school fees are simply too high for families struggling to provide basic necessities for their children.
You make it possible to maintain 8 fishponds at the St. Francis school compound. These ponds provide a protein rich fish meal to all students and staff at NCV each and every weekend. You can see from the children’s smiles how much this fish meal is enjoyed! Thank you for giving these smiles by your support of the fish farming food security program!
