Help 120 South African children attend pre-school

Some of our graduating learners for 2022
Some of our graduating learners for 2022

We have reached the end of a school year like no other. Despite the many changes, our learners, staff, directors and partners have persevered together and grown stronger as a result.

Thanks to donors, we had many victories. We have successfully graduated all 120 learners, our cook served 49,920 meals, we conducted 120 paediatric health check-ups, we empowered 30 parents through our eight-week parenting skills programme, employed 4 volunteer assistant teachers, employed 1 full time Cleaner/Maintenance person and 3 new directors joined our team.

It is quite astonishing to think that the year began with most schools still on rotation and that masks were worn in the schools right up to the end of the second term.

Whilst we have overcome so much, I know that everything will return back to "normal".

We deliver quality education for every learner despite of these challenges. We appreciate the resilient and positive attitude of our teachers who put the learners first.

Our academic results have improved by 2.5% (85.02%) compared to last year’s end results of (83.94%).

We have an exciting year ahead as we welcome the new intake of leaners.

Thank you once again for assisting us to realize our vision to educate the children of Dunoon.

You have helped us more than we thought possible. You have helped us create an impact where it matters most, in the lives of our young leaders of tomorrow.

It is this, that will drive us forward to face 2023 with renewed optimism and hope.

I want to wish you all of the very best for the festive season, a happier, healthier and a prosperous New Year.
