“GROW, THINK AND DECIDE” PROGRAM
Over the past two months, we have conducted playful and participatory workshops for children and adolescents, creating learning spaces adapted to their ages and the realities of their environment.
Our work has focused on strengthening essential life skills through workshops on logical thinking and decision-making.
Through games, challenges, group activities, and real-life situations, we have transformed learning into an experience that is engaging, practical, and meaningful.
OUR APPROACH
Our intervention takes place in the same spaces where children and their families spend their daily lives, including the markets where they carry out their everyday activities.
This approach has allowed us to provide flexible support and create safe, trusting spaces where children and adolescents can participate, learn, express themselves, and become actively involved.
During this period, we had the opportunity to accompany 80 children and adolescents, turning each encounter into an opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
WHAT WE ACHIEVEDStrengthening Logical Thinking
Our activities encouraged children to think before responding, explain their ideas, and understand that there can be different ways to reach a solution.
Strengthening Decision-Making
We explored situations connected to their everyday lives, encouraging children to reflect on the different options available in a given situation and the possible consequences of their choices.
The children learned to think carefully, consider alternatives, make decisions, and recognize the consequences of their actions.
THE IMPACT WE ARE CREATING
Our impact goes beyond what happens during a workshop.
We are helping children and adolescents develop tools they can use throughout their lives: when facing a problem, dealing with a challenge, interacting with others, or making an important decision.
Each activity is designed to progressively strengthen their ability to think, solve problems, express themselves, and make informed choices.
Because when a child learns to find a solution, they are not simply solving a game or completing an activity. They are developing a life skill.
And when a child learns to think before making a decision, they are gaining a capacity that can support them throughout their growth and development.
WHAT MOTIVATES US TO CONTINUE
These past two months have confirmed that when children are given an opportunity, they respond with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong capacity to learn.
We are motivated by seeing them participate, share their ideas, look for solutions, and gradually begin to trust in their own abilities.
We are motivated by knowing that every learning space can open the door to a different possibility.
That is why we want to continue.
We want to reach more children and adolescents, strengthen the process we have started, and continue creating spaces where they can think, learn, decide, and believe in their own potential.
SUPPORTING THEIR JOURNEY
The journey we have begun needs continuity.
The support of our partners and donors allows us to bring these learning opportunities directly to the children who need them, provide appropriate educational materials, and sustain the ongoing support that makes meaningful change possible.
We are grateful to every volunteer and donor, and to everyone who supports our mission—even through a simple like or share.
THANK YOU to everyone who continues to help us create opportunities for children to GROW, THINK, AND DECIDE.
