SEDA is cooperating with DRI (Direct Relief International) from USA, who is providing the medical aids for the typhoon victims in Southern of Laos in Attappeu, Sekong and Salavanh provinces. SEDA has made this mission possible as partnering with Ministry of Health to make sure these aids is out reach to the district and provincial level. Many thanks to DRI to support our typhoon victims in Southern of Lao P.D.R.
Benefits will be mostly for the hospital district, and provincial level in rural area. Today, we still need more medical aids, especially for children, mothers and elderly women, who are the most vulnerable and struggle the most in the crisis. SEDA urges for more donations to help victims as they are still lack of nutrition and livelihoods.
SEDA has implied two micro credit projects for these areas: Fingerling fish and Biodiversity Protection. To learn more about these projects, please follow the link http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/micro-credit-for-disadvantaged-farmers-in-laos/
