By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear All Friends,
Greetings and thank you very much for your kind donation to our project to re-plant and rehabilitate coconuts damaged during typhoon Haiyan. This project is important and the problem is that very few organizations are giving importance to re-plant damaged coconuts. There is also a lack of coconut tree seedlings and during this period we tap our main seedling nursery in Mindanao in order to procure coconut tree seedlings. We have a big truck that can transport 2,000 seedlings per trip and we are using this. We are also linking-up with the Philippine Coconut Authority for possible assistance from them for this very urgent and important initiative.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
