Dear our kind donors!
What I have to say today in this report?.. For six months in Ukraine continues undeclared war waged by Putin's Rossia... Just at this time when I'm writing in Kyiv these words my wife almost in the center of Donetsk City seeking refuge for salvation because of shooting and shelling... However, parallel to this, life goes on...
Those $ 5000, we put together in December, covered the 3 operative fetoscopies. Is this a lot or a little?
Two women after the operations have given birth to two babies, alive and healthy - you can see them on attached photos :) Third patient's pregnancy is still ongoing and we hope to hear good news regarding third delivery also. Knock-knock-knock! ;) Saved six lives - is it a lot or a little? Ask parents whose an only sons 17-20-year-old were shot by snipers on the Maidan in Kyiv recently... :(
And three sophisticated operations free of charge (THANKS TO YOUR DONATIONS) for not rich families two of three live in rural areas - is it a lot or a little? Do not ask them - just look at their happy eyes! :)
After December we received almost no donations because a war in Ukraine and most Ukrainian donors support defenders of the homeland.
But we will continue working in fetal medicine (until called to war). Hope slowly we yet still collect at least for some fetoscopies more to save more twins lives. Accordingly, gratefully accept any your donations!
With great respect and gratitude,
the "Fetal Medicine Foundation, Ukraine".
