GlobalGiving grants YCAB Foundation for Coronavirus Relief

GlobalGiving is a nonprofit that supports other non-profits’ by connecting them to donors and companies. Since 2002, GlobalGiving has helped trusted, community-led organizations from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe (and hundreds of places in between) access the tools, training, and support they need to make our world a better place.

GlobalGiving is partnered with non-profits’ in 170 countries who work on the ground who post projects that need your help for their community’s needs. They also help companies develop powerful corporate social responsibility, grantmaking, and employee engagement strategies.

During October 2020, upon learning more about YCAB’s programming, GlobalGiving awarded YCAB Foundation an emergency grant of $30,000 from GlobalGiving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund to support YCAB’s work in response to the coronavirus outbreak. The funds go to help the neediest in this time of crisis with basic food packages, health and hygiene supplies and data packages so children can continue their education while schools are closed.  

An overall of approximately $1.25 million (around IDR 20,138 billion) from multiple sources, including from GlobalGiving, has so far been mobilized from YCAB Foundation to communities and beneficiaries during this difficult time to ease each other’s burden. All are dedicated to Coronavirus outbreak relief.
