Lighting up lives

By Greg Stretton | Project Leader

Our Covid-19 Lightup campaign is fully operational and working very well. A big thank you to all who have donated, you have so far Lit up 2,197 Families and ensured the continuation of school studies for their children via home learning.

I very much hope that you are all keeping safe and well during these troubled times and in view of that, I would like to Re-introduce you to our fundraising program 'Light up Indonesia'

The Light Up Indonesia Program is a program initiated by YCAB Foundation in collaboration with PLN The Indonesian state electricity company. The program aims to help relieve the burden of pre-prosperous families by paying electricity bills for power users of 900VA and 1300VA who are not subsidized by the Government during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

The impact of this plague is not only on health but also in other sectors such as economics, business and even our social life.

Highlighting the increasingly heavy burden faced by the pre-prosperous families who in everyday life have suffered a crisis.

YCAB Foundation is conducting fundraising through GlobalGiving or LightUp Indonesia to help 100,000 pre-prosperous families as well as mother micro-entrepreneurs Whose efforts are impacted during this pandemic, by paying their electricity bills.

Why does electricity become very important?  because, in addition to daily lighting needs, their children need electricity for learning online during their study at home.

We invite you to join together with YCAB Foundation to provide Light in Darkness to the pre-prosperous families and the micro-mothers through this Light Up Program.

This Program can be followed either by corporate donation through CSR or individual donations. And also through Customer Programs or employee engagement wherever you work.

For more on this program, you can see through the website: www.lightup.id

Thank you very much, and we hope that you, your friends, relatives and work colleagues will join us and light up thousands of families lives by participating in this program.
