To date we have helped over 160 families from Hurricane Florence with furnishings (couches, chairs, tables, lamps, beds, dressers, accessories, linens, towels, etc.) Most items are donated, but items in high demand have been purchased. We have spent approximately $3,000 to date on dressers.
We have had to move our location four times, but we are continuing to help. We have been blessed with great volunteers and a community that cares. We have another 100 residents getting ready to move back into to apartment projects that had to be renovated due to the storm.
Furniture Finders continues to get donations of furniture. Lazy Boy has donated two trailer loads of sofas and chairs, a local logistics company paid for both shipments.
