EARTHQUAKE RELIEF ACTIVITIES IN TURKIYE

It is being brought to your kind knowledge that this project was launched after 6th of February 2023 Earthquake in Turkiye and Syria which killed more than 60,000 people. The team of CHCS visited the earthquake affectees of Turkiye and Syria during the last week of February 2023 and provided relief to the affectees by visiting their make-shift camps for the affectees in the province of Adiyaman, Turkiye. The relief efforts of CHCS continued afterward. The consignments of relief goods like medicines, surgical, and clothing were sent. Aftari food was arranged during the Holy month of Ramadan in which hundreds of families were provided food. The relief efforts of CHCS for the Earthquake affectees of Turkiye were thankfully acknowledged by the Hon’ble Ambassador of Turkiye, His Excellency Dr. Mehmet Pacaci who presented a certificate to the patron-in-chief of CHCS during his visit to the office of Federal Tax Ombudsman. Recently a consignment of surgical equipment is being sent for the field hospitals established to provide medical care to the earthquake affected of Syria and Turkiye. CHCS has been sending the relief goods to the earthquake affectees of Turkiye and Syria form its own resources and collaboration with GlobalGiving Foundation, USA.
The donors across the globe are requested to support CHCS in providing more relief and medical support to the Earthquake affectees of Turkiye and Syria.
