Hello TB Photovoice family,
I wanted to share with you the progress of the Kenyan TB Photovoice project since I am sure you are excited to hear how things are shaping up since our training in September. Our partners at TB ACTION Group are truly making great efforts to implement the project. So far, the group facilitator Alice Opiyo has recruited 12 participants, each of whom have personal experiences with TB and HIV. They have chosen to conduct two groups, 6 participants in each, with a great mix of men and women, as well as age groups represented. TB ACTION Group is also working on building their Advisory Committee so that they can share their images and stories with a broad representation of their community. We are so impressed by their commitment and dedication to this project.
