Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your generous support to our project tree growing for food and biodiversity improvement. We are gaining ground with this project with our effort to link with organizations working on carbon offset/carbon credit. We hope to finalize some agreements with them so that our effort is multiplied with them supporting carbon credit initiatives. The process in enrolling with carbon credit institutions is complex and difficult but we are persevering. There are a few technical glitches like area demarcation and the need to ensure ownership of the areas where trees are to be grown but we manage to link with professionals in order to respond to this challenge. Aside from standard trees we are also promoting high valued plants like dragon fruits that promises to provide good income as well as the fruit having health benefits. We will be looking for other fruits that we can promote and we hope to be successful in this aspect. Again thank you very much.
