Burn medical services in Mongolia, 2015

Introduction - Since our organization Hamkkehaneun Sarangbat (the meaning of Together Sarangbat) was established in 1987 in Republic of Korea and, we have performance as a sponsor and as a consolation as well. We have performance different projects and activities for homeless elders, the disabled and orphans, incurable diseases people, and real needed people by starting domestically. Since then, it has been developed into an international Non-government organization and extended our support activities to abroad. In the beginning of 2015, we widely extend the activities for the burned people in both domestic and abroad.
Project Activities – In June 2015, we have supported the second time medical services in Mongolia for 150 patients and give surgery for 6 serious burned patients by professional doctors, nurses from Korea. We closely work with one of burn special hospital in Korea. In addition, we have arranged for the projects and corporate with one of Severe Trauma Center from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. During providing the medical services in Mongolia, we taking action for the following activities -

Outpatients treatment for burns and frostbite patients
Operation for 6 serious burn patients
Conducting the medicine and ointment
Delivering living support for the patients what we have raised in last year.

Conclusion - This intensive service took total 5 days and we closely observed the patients, delivered living fee for the patients’ family by visiting until to their Yurt (Ger), conducting the medicine and ointment. Moreover, we support their temporary living spend during hospitalize. We also make a partnership with National Trauma Services Center of Mongolia to work more effectively and widely in Mongolia. As our organization actively helping for the real needed people and sending the services to the place where difficult to reach the government or other agencies support in Mongolia, we got trust from the indigenous people. So that, we must extend our services for those people and show our love to neighbors.
