Follow up of 1000 Anemic women and girls project

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic situation, camps were not conducted for the last 3 to 4 months. However, visits were made to some of the individual families as follow up of the project interventions. Beneficiaries are made aware of wearing homemade masks, social distancing, and regular washing of hands. Life stories of beneficiaries attended anemia screening camps and benefitted from the project follow up activities.

Story -1

My name is Rakshitha.  I am a student of Mahatma PU College. Samruddhi team with the help of CHC’s doctors conducted an anemia screening camp in our college. I came to know about my hemoglobin level and I received treatment. Thanks to Samruddhi and all the doctors for giving us treatment and awareness about anemia and about Covid-19 Pandemic.

Story -2

I am shailaja.N, a student of mahatma PU College, and studying in commerce. I have attended the anemia screening camp conducted by CHC and Samruddhi project in our college. Before the camp, I was not aware of anemia problems and even my blood group. Today I came to know about my blood group and food habits to improve hemoglobin. Thanks to samruddhi and all the doctors for the pills and for giving us awareness about anemia and about Corona's situation.

Story 3

My name is Pallavi. I am studying in eleven standards in mahatma PU college .befort the anemia screening camp I was not aware of my blood group and problems of anemia among the girls. After attending the anemia screening camp conducted by samruddhi project and community health center doctors.I learned to know what are the problems of anemia? What are the food items like fruits, vegetables that should we eat? Thanks to the project for this opportunity and awareness about anemia. Today I know how to take care of my health and I am well aware of Covid-19 situation.

 Story 4

My Name is swathi.D. I’m studying 1st year Commerce in Govt Pre University College, Harohalli. Last month Community health center and Samruddhi team organized an anemia screening camp in our college. Before conducting the camp I was not aware of my blood group and anemia disease. After the camp I got to know about my blood group and anemia disease. The doctors suggested me to intake an ample amount of vegetables, fruits and germinated seeds. Due to this, I found a lot of improvements in my health. Thanks to the project for creating an opportunity to know my health status and awareness about anemia.

  Story 5 

I’m vaishnavi.k.n. I’m studying commerce in Govt pre-university college, Harohalli. The community health center and samruddhi team organized an anemia screening camp in our college. Due to this camp, I got to know about my blood group and about my hemoglobin level. The doctors advised me to have more fruits and vegetables. My hemoglobin level improved due to having fruits and vegetables. I want to thank samruddhi and CHC for the awareness about anemia. I’m taking care of my health and I’m also sharing Covid-19 information with others.

Story 6

Myself Rakshitha.N. I’m studying arts in govt pre university college, Harohalli. Samruddhi team and CHC doctors conducted anemia screening and awareness camp in our college. They checked my blood group and hemoglobin level. I got to know that my hemoglobin was low and they suggested me to have much amount of fruits and vegetables. They also informed us the causes and reasons of low hemoglobin level. My hemoglobin level increased by having fruits and germinated seeds. I thank CHC hospital and samruddhi for organizing this anemia awareness camp and giving us awareness on Corona.

 Story 7 

My name is pavithra. I’m studying 12th standard in govt pu college, Harohalli. CHC and Samruddhi team conducted an anemia screening camp in our college. I did not know about my blood group and my anemia disease. The doctors suggested me to have green leaves, vegetables and fruits. Due to this my health got improved and my anemia level increased. Thanks to Samruddhi and CHC team for creating awareness about anemia and hemoglobin.

I’m also sharing this information with my friends and suggesting them to take care of their health about preventing Corona spread.

Story 8

I’m Annapurna. I’m studying in govt PU college, harohalli. Samruddhi and CHC team organized an anemia screening and awareness camp in our college. Due to this camp I got to know about my blood group and hemoglobin level. By the doctor's suggestion, I improved my hemoglobin level by having fruits and vegetables.

Thanks to the samruddhi and CHC team for giving me a good suggestion to take care of my health and preventing measures about Covid-19 disease.

   

 The project aimed to followup with more beneficiaries and also create awareness about coronavirus.
