Anaemia awareness and screening programme

Medical camp

Anemia awareness and screening camp was held in collaboration with Community Health Centre on 30th July 2019 at Govt Junior College in Harohalli. The Harohalli PHC Doctors and technicians team participated and supported the program.

In this program, 100 girl students have participated. Students were undergone anemia awareness talk, screening, doctor consultation and received treatments.

The outcome of the program:

Iron folic acid tablet distributed 93 students,
5 students were referred to as Nutrition supplementary food,
2 Students were referred for detailed blood examination and iron injunction,

The Principal of Govt Junior College in Harohalli thanked the doctors, lab technicians and amici for these initiatives.
