Donate Trees for Conservation & Jobs in Ethiopia

KDA – Tree Planting Project Report October 14/ 2013

The KDA - Global Giving project is making change in rehabilitating the environment (degraded lands) of Konso in Gersale Village. 

During the last months (March to October, 2013)

• In these months six online donations have been made (total of $110)
• Two tourists visited the site to pick and plant their seedlings on the plantation site
• Their commemorative name tags were mounted at the site
• The project plantation site continues to thrive, and with the growing vegetation, there is now evidence of wildlife returning to the area – birds, butterflies and small mammals
