Following years of political and economic instability the situation in Zimbabwe is beginning to stabilize and Riders is working hard to respond to the increased demand for its services. Health workers with a Riders motorcycle are now able to spend four days each week conducting outreach work, compared to just two days before. This means that they are able to spend longer with their communities and are better placed to support mothers during child birth and respond to medical emergencies – a vital step that has the potential to save hundreds of lives. Thanks to the help of our supporters, we continue to make a positive impact on health care delivery in Zimbabwe.
