Africa Exchange Project continues to work to improve the use of computers and digital learning in Pomerini, Tanzania.

We have expanded our aims to include the Health Dispensary and Special Needs Department in our quest to improve students and leaders use of technology to the benefit of the students and administrators.

Our aim remains to provide 40 computers, along with [preipheral equipment usch as montirs, keyboards and mice, projectors and digital training.

To date we have provided the primary and secondary school with 11 refurbished laptops. We are currently undertaking digit.a training for 20 educators at teh primary and secondary schools.

We seek to dramatically improve students' access to the vast library of over 50,000 digital textbooks now freely available to primary and secondary school students in rural Tanzania, and to take advantage of the plethora of educational, research and training resources available online.

We recently provided the Health Dispensary in Pomerini with an ultrasoud machine.  THey now need computeres capable of processing and storing the large digital files created, while also taking advantage of the health of diagnotsitc and educational information relating to diseases online.

We have provided the Special Needs department with special keyboards and technology that helps special needs students to learn to read and write and to particpate in classes alongside other students.

In 2025, we provided modems and set up the primary and secondary schools with internet access.

We are now looking to further transform the learning environment for students, increase learning and training opportunities for teachers and health workers, and help to develop the computer skills essential to their future success and their participation in Tanzania's transformation from a predominantly agricultural, rural society to a more diversified modern, multi-sector economy.
