During the recent quarter, all students sponsored appeared for their 1st term Examination. Due to amended rules and regulation of examination pattern by CBSE we now have exams twice a year. But in need to keep track of students we do regular assessment by conducting internal examinations.
The first term result is usually around average as children take time to adjust to the new class level. It is our first year with 510 children and scaling up of processes is taking time.
Classes 6 to 12 have been equipped with LEDs and audio-video lectures by eminent teachers is supplementing the teaching in classrooms. This newer method of learning is indeed a blessing for our children. As we have children from challenging background, so it becomes appealing to them who are already struggling with traditional methods being used.
During this period a batch of 10 boys went for adventure course to NIM (National Institute of Mountaineering). They enjoyed rock climbing, trekking and other adventurous events. These activities make children physically strong and instills a sense of love and awareness for the nature.
We celebrated Independence Day. Children participated and performed in dance, singing, drama and other cultural activities.
This quarter has been full of lot of competitions and activities. Our School boys team was the runners up in Volleyball at district level where 25 different teams participated. Our girls basketball team included Samiksha, Komal, Ishika , Eesha and Meenakshi crossed Semifinals.
We had regular practices for sports events. Children were so excited for this long awaited event ’Sports Day’.
