21 Years of Aumazo: From a Fragile Dream to a Lasting Institution

By Jacqueline Audige | FOUNDER

Reaching 21 years is a monumental milestone for any non-profit. In human terms, it represents the dawn of full maturity, independence, and accountability. For Aumazo, celebrating 21 years means our vision is no longer just a promise—it is a proven, living institution.

Over the last two decades, your unwavering support on GlobalGiving has transformed a fragile beginning into concrete, sustainable impact in rural Cameroon. Because you walked with us:

    • Our reputation is unquestioned: Local authorities, families, and global donors trust our model of excellence.
    • Our infrastructure is permanent: From the solar water tower to the thriving classrooms of Coretech Kamarie, we are building things that last.
    • The cycle is complete: The young girls we supported two decades ago are now independent women, and today's students are mastering Civil Engineering and Accounting.
    • Maturity and dignity: ourCoretech Kamarie students carry the legacy, the light, and the excellence of the institution mindfully

As we enter this era of full organizational maturity, we are focused on securing the final piece of our students' sanctuary: building private, dignified sanitation facilities.

“Thank you for investing in 21 years of dignity, resilience, and transformation,” as Charone clearly stated this morning during our online celebration.

Let’s make this milestone year the one where we break ground on our most urgent project yet: the construction of our sanitation facility.

With Gratitude,

Jacqueline and the Board
