Dear Social Artistry Friends,
Thank you very much for supporting us in implementing an intensive 3-week long programme on Social Artistry in Nepal. As you might be hearing from all, it went so well. We have now many more Social Artistry facilitators in Nepal and many of them are replicating this work all over Nepal.
In three days we have another 3-day long intensive training for rural women in a remote part of Nepal. Amba and Atma are there to facilitate this event and will prepare a complete report. We have been carrying out several trim tab projects in that area for several years.
We also thank Janet and Evelyn for their active facilitation which has made this initiative so successful. I thank all who are involved in promoting Social Artistry in Nepal.
Janet comments, "Our trip to Nepal was probably one of the best we have done. One feels like the country is actually ready to move forward after the disruption in democracy, the civil war, earthquakes etc. (Actually, I got news today of major flooding in several of the villages we have been working in, so hopefully that is not much of a set back.)"
We assure you that if given an opportunity, we can organize even much bigger program covering several districts in Nepal. We hope that the Jean Houston Foundation and you who care about our work in this regard will continue to help us as we train community leaders.
Thank you again for your great help.
Sincerely,
Tatwa
Chairperson, ICA Nepal
