The Starting Chance Campaign in Cape Town is currently running a beginners computer skills workshop with various partners in Mfuleni Township. One of these partners is Love to Langa, which has donated usbs for use in the workshop.
One of the modules of the workshop covers 'how to use a usb'. As the computer lab in Mfuleni is fully functional and equipped, the teachers and principals are able to save any downloaded material to their usbs.
They are also able to use the usbs at home, work on their admin, and print when they come to the lab.
We are planning to have more Teacher Training workshops of our own in the future, but we are very happy to have been able to participate in this most recent one, even if it was in a relatively small way!
