Our parter, Roger Orozco from Just One Opportunity, held a series of workshops at the training center in Sebaco over the 2014 Christmas-New Year break. More than 150 teachers, small business owners, pastors, and students leaders came over several days to hear from Roger about important topics like goal-setting, creating a vision for their future, identifying student learning styles, basic elements of effective small business development, and much more. During breaks the workshop participants enjoyed homemade meals of tortillas, chicken, rice, beans and coleslaw and great conversation! Leaders from 12 villages will be returning to the training center for additional training in how to assess community assets and needs, as well as planning for additional vocation-specific training in 2015. Thanks for your support in making it possible to build the next generation of leaders in these 12 remote villages!
