After our success in successfully completing the training and qualification for the second batch of the project, which targeted 10 displaced women in Sana’a in the field of waste and user recycling, the rest of the batch’s activities were supposed to be completed in the production and marketing phases, and the training of ten other displaced women
The organization's bank account has reached $299 of the donations that the project received this year, and we hope to get more donations in the next December campaign, which will help us implement the rest of the activities of the second batch.
But our organization decided to postpone the rest of the activities until 2022, due to the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has spread widely in Yemen in the past months.
The problem is that only 1,000 doses of the Corona vaccine have reached the capital, Sanaa, and the areas under the control of the Houthi movement so far, which were provided to some health staff working in isolation centers.
While more than twenty million citizens have not yet received any dose of the vaccine
The situation is dangerous, and any new activities will pose a threat to the lives of the displaced women and their families, especially with the deteriorating situation of the health system and services in Yemen due to the war.
We think this step is absolutely necessary
We call on donors to provide more funding, to continue helping more displaced women in Yemen during 2022
