The SA College for Tourism (SACT) is excited to share with its GlobalGiving supporters that it will be expanding its reach and offering hospitality training to an additional number of deserving young women from rural southern Africa in 2017.
Commencing 2017, SACT will be training 10-15 learners per annum recruited from Namibian Wildlife Resorts in liaison and with the cooperation of the Namibian Ministry of Environment & Tourism.
In addition to this, SACT will be developing and piloting a programme in conjunction with Airbnb and Open Africa to train a minimum of 20 women annually to operate their own B&B’s on certain tourist routes in South Africa.
These exciting opportunities (and plenty more in the works for 2018) can only be realized with the support of kind-hearted donors like yourselves. Thank you for being a friend to the College and for your contribution in making this opportunity of a lifetime a reality for these worthy young women.
