This project supports 100 vulnerable youth ages 18-28 in Cartagena, Colombia, through academic, vocational, and psychosocial training. Many face school dropout, unemployment, and exposure to violence. By offering technical education, entrepreneurial skills, and emotional support, the program helps them gain job opportunities, complete their studies, and build safer, sustainable futures for themselves and their communities.
Youth in low-income neighborhoods of Cartagena face high levels of poverty, school dropout, unemployment, and exposure to violence. Many lack access to education, vocational training, and emotional support, limiting their opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods. Without intervention, these conditions increase the risk of involvement in delinquency, exploitation, and long-term social exclusion.
The project provides academic support, vocational training, entrepreneurship workshops, and psychosocial counseling to 100 vulnerable youth. Through technical education, life-skills development, emotional guidance, and individualized counseling, participants gain the skills and confidence needed to complete their studies, access job opportunities, and create sustainable income-generating activities. This integrated approach reduces risk factors and opens pathways to long-term economic stability.
The project will help break cycles of poverty by equipping youth with strong academic foundations, employable skills, and emotional resilience. Over time, graduates will access better job opportunities, start small businesses, and contribute positively to their families and communities.
