The Food & Accommodation for Young Visually Impaired Entrepreneurs project was implemented by the Indian Association for the Blind to support visually impaired entrepreneurs. The initiative addressed critical barriers such as food insecurity and lack of safe accommodation, enabling beneficiaries to participate fully and consistently in training.
Under the project, participants were provided with three nutritious meals per day, prepared in accordance with strict hygiene and food safety standards. In addition, safe and accessible residential accommodation was arranged within the organization’s campus, ensuring a secure and supportive learning environment.
Project funds were utilized for the procurement of groceries and cooking essentials, kitchen staff salaries, and essential utility services including water and electricity. These inputs ensured uninterrupted service delivery throughout the training period.
