Following Moqah Foundation’s collaboration with APWEE, 56 trainees have benefitted from Enterprise Development trainings in the last two months and graduated with a certificate of achievement. Five day trainings in two rural areas were conducted to build the capacity of underserved women to develop tools necessary to start successful businesses at small level, generate income, send their children to school and lift their families and communities out of poverty. The beneficiaries were able to understand how to improve employability skills and how to become a successful entrepreneur
To enable participants to understand how information and communication technology can be helpful for them to start and manage their businesses, Moqah Foundation with the support of group of donors will be educating beneficiaries in marketing products through digital media,
The course is being designed to help the trainees to rely on digital technologies to establish and run their businesses, irrespective of their sizes, since it can be especially important in reaching out to new customers, enlarging their existing customer base and eventually growing their businesses.
They will be trained to set up online storefronts to sell their goods and use social media platforms such as Facebook to advertise.
Thank you to our valued donors for the unwavering commitment and belief in our cause. These achievements would not have been possible without your invaluable contribution.
