Learning Sustainable Agricultural Practices Benefits Women and Provides Income

By Gillian Wilson | Project Leader

With your support, ASHA is providing women with the knowledge, tools, and skills to improve their income generation through sustainable agriculture practices.

Project highlights include:

  • Many farmers are moving away from chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and more towards organic farming methods.
  • Women are more aware of the benefits of organic farming and community members are now searching for organic vegetables in the market.
  • Income earned from trainings is helping women become more economically empowered and better able to provide for their families.

By donating to ASHA you are ensuring more women can benefit from this program.

Thank you for your support.
