Rethinking to Keep Moving ForwardFundación Bringas-Haghenbeck I.A.P.September 2026
Dear GlobalGiving Community,
In our previous update, we shared our decision to rethink this project after its original format did not attract the level of support we had hoped for. Today, we would like to share that this process is still underway.
Over the past few months, we have been reviewing the current needs of our residences and exploring alternatives that can create a more direct and sustainable impact on the care of older adults.
To date, we have not received new donations for this initiative, so there are no additional fundraising results to report at this time. However, this period has allowed us to better understand how to focus our efforts and explore new forms of collaboration and funding.
Our purpose remains unchanged: to strengthen person-centered care that helps preserve the dignity, autonomy, well-being, and quality of life of the older adults living in our residences.
We are currently continuing to redefine the initiative and identify partnerships that can help us develop a viable and sustainable approach over time.
We are grateful to everyone who continues to follow our work. We also believe that openly sharing our challenges is an important part of our responsibility to our community.
We hope to share the next steps of this new phase with you soon.
