Project Report | Aug 14, 2025
Step by Step Toward Teacher Empowerment

By Nathalia Hernandez | Fundraising Coordinator

Dear donors,

Thanks to your continued support, we want to share an honest update on our teacher training project.

We are continuing to coordinate schedules with municipal and community authorities to set the date for our next teacher training session, while also directing our efforts toward securing the resources needed to make it happen.

In the meantime, we have been strengthening our training materials, refining our methodology, and maintaining close communication with local allies so we are ready to act as soon as the conditions are in place. We are also actively reaching out to new donors and partners who can help us take this important step.

We remain convinced that empowering teachers in indigenous communities has the power to transform entire classrooms and strengthen communities. Each trained teacher can inspire dozens of students and open doors to a brighter future.

We are counting on your continued support to help us overcome this barrier. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to the moment when this group of teachers continues their training.

With gratitude,
Fernanda de la Cerda
