By David Stillman, PhD | Executive Director PPAF, Project Leader
The head of the United Nations Staff Recreation Club "Aux Antilles" has invited us to make a presentation this coming Friday, 1 March 2019. One of various clubs at the UN, this one is primarily made up of staff members from Haiti.
We were advised that the club will reserve a conference room, arrange for PowerPoint, invite members of other clubs to attend, and publish the notice and results on the UN intranet. The theme should be to present all ways of cooking that hopefully could replace charcoal so people do not cut down trees for cooking fuel.
The Executive Director of PPAF and a consultant to the Université Notre Dame d'Haiti at Hinche will make the presentation on behalf of the consortium of organizations that are involved.
The attached PowerPoint will serve as the basis of our presentation, to be accompanied by commentary and time for Q & A.
PPAF is pleased to provide an advance copy as our 6th report under the Global Giving project "Tracking clean cookstoves and fuel in Haiti."
