DONATION REPORT FROM DECEMBER 2022 TO JUNE 1^ST 2023

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Township Foundation Education Centre management acknowledges with great honor the receipt of donations worth USD107,175 in the months of December 2022 to June 1^ST 2023 from Nike employees via Benevity and The Wilson family driven through GlobalGiving fundraiser platform. We admit that without these, TFEC would be no more.

APPRECIATION AND ACHIEVEMENTS

We Township Foundation Education Centre do register our gratitude to the Nike employees via Benevity and individual donors for the support they continually give to our children and to the community at large. We truly recognize and appreciate the GlobalGiving for giving us the fundraising platform. The support we got is greatly changing the lives of our young ones; they are able to enjoy and appreciate the good food and live in a clean environment. The classrooms have reduced the congestion in school and greatly improved hygiene.

ANALYSIS OF FUNDS UTILIZATION

1)     Farming  We leased 10 acre piece of land and maize and beans were planted on it waiting for harvesting by August 2023.

2)    The  borehole?

The borehole is progressing well. We are through with water drilling part and we have done a 24 hour test pumping of water and this was very successful.

This was done to determine the type of pump that will be installed. Borehole casing, pump installations are done, borehole cover already put, pump controller and switch board installed and water tanks

And the high school?

The high school is ongoing. We have a population of 35 students in grade 7and everything is going on well though with some challenges.

THE FACE OF TFEC JUNIOR  HIGH SCHOOL

The three classrooms are done as shown above and are under use except we couldn’t manage to paint and install electricity due to high cost of construction currently experienced in Kenya

3)     Ground floor project

We have started work with the preparation of the deformed metal bars as shown below. The construction materials are already in school as shown below.

The secondary school sponsorship program is ongoing. First and second term school fees already paid.

Mentorship program ongoing during the holidays.
