More than 3,500 people have lost their lives, thousands have been injured, and many families remain displaced, living in temporary shelters after losing everything. Immediately after the disaster, we deployed an Emergency Relief Team. We are operating a temporary medical clinic and distributing relief packages containing food, hygiene items, daily necessities. The humanitarian needs are immense. Safe shelter, medical care, food, clean water, and essential supplies are all critically needed.
On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck northern Venezuela, causing catastrophic destruction across Caracas, La Guaira, and surrounding communities. Thousands of buildings collapsed, critical infrastructure was severely damaged. As of today, more than 3,500 people have lost their lives, over 16,000 have been injured, and nearly 18,000 people remain displaced, with thousands of families still living in temporary shelters.
Immediately after the earthquake, We deployed an Emergency Medical Team (EMT)and an Emergency Relief Team, to the affected areas. Since arriving on the ground, our teams have been working alongside local partners to provide life-saving assistance to the communities most affected by the disaster. Our medical team has established and is operating a temporary medical clinic, emergency relief team is distributing emergency relief packages containing food, hygiene items, daily necessities.
Despite these efforts, the scale of the disaster is overwhelming. Countless families have lost their homes. Temporary shelters remain overcrowded, healthcare facilities are stretched beyond capacity, and access to clean water, food, medicine, and basic necessities remains critically limited. It is difficult to identify just one priority because, everything is urgently needed. They need safe shelter, food, clean water, medical care, hygiene supplies, and continued humanitarian assistance.
