Every Small Victory Is Possible Thanks to You

As the war in Ukraine continues, families raising children with severe disabilities and complex medical conditions face enormous challenges. Yet even during these frightening times, your generosity allows our children to continue receiving the medical treatment, rehabilitation, and essential care they desperately need.

Thanks to your donations, we have funded 11 rehabilitation courses, necessary medical examinations and surgeries, and provided medications, specialized nutrition, wheelchairs, mobility aids, prosthetic devices, and humanitarian assistance.

Behind every treatment is a child fighting for something many of us take for granted: the ability to move, communicate, live with less pain, and experience the simple joys of childhood.

Our dear Vladyslav has lived with cerebral palsy since early childhood. Even the simplest movements require tremendous effort. Thanks to rehabilitation, he has improved his head control, reduced muscle spasticity, and strengthened his arms and legs. Today, he is taking his first steps with support while standing upright. For his family, these small movements represent years of hope, patience, and love.

Little Milana lives with serious medical conditions that limit her mobility and cause pain. Following rehabilitation, she has gained better control of her hand movements and can now grasp and release objects with greater confidence. Her pain has decreased, her mood has improved, and she has become more motivated to participate in therapy. Every new movement is a priceless victory for this little girl.

And our sweet Daria has given her mother two unforgettable moments of happiness. After years of hard work and rehabilitation, this little girl with cerebral palsy took her first independent steps. Then came another extraordinary moment. For the very first time, Daria spoke the word her mother had dreamed of hearing for so long: “Mama.”

Just one little word, yet behind it were years of tears, hope, determination, and unconditional love.

Dear friends, these achievements may seem ordinary to some, but for our children and their families, they mean the world.

There are still many challenges ahead. Our children will need further medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing support. But thanks to you, they have a chance to keep moving forward.

You give our children so much more than medical care. You give them the chance to take their first steps, embrace their mothers, speak their first words, and experience the happiness every child deserves.
